IRONMAN Coeur D' Alene 2011

While in Coeur D'Alene for a family visit, the CDA Ironman event was taking place in downtown.  I woke up early to go down and photograph the event.  I got a good spot- up front and by luck I was standing next to Mike Dibens and his wife Julie Dibens. At the time I didn't know who they were until later after picking up a Triathlete Magazine and realizing she is a current world champs and record holders.  Super inspiring watching thousands of people charge into the cold lake of CDA embarking upon one of the most intense competitions around.  I'm glad that I got up early that morning.

"GONE" in Portland, OR

On April 15th we packed up our Topanga Tree House and said goodbye. We left for Portland, OR to work on a movie called "Gone". We ended up staying in the basement of a friend of a friends house in Lake Oswego, south of Portland by 20 minutes. Really enjoyed seeing old friends and making new friends. Portland is such a great place filled with liked minded people and really good food. We had great adventures to Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Beautiful Hood River.
Here are some Images from our memories spent in Portland.
